Samagra Shiksha is an Integrated Scheme for School Education aimed at ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education from Class PreKG-12th Standard. Samagra Shiksha subsumes three then existing schemes – Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) and Teacher Education (TE). The main outcomes of the Scheme are envisaged as Universal Access, Equity, Quality and strengthening of Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs), etc.
Provide quality inputs like creation of audio-visual content and assessment questions that can be accessed by students through QR codes placed in textbooks issued by the department.
Emphasize on quality with a special focus on inclusive and equitable education for children in all school going ages.
Implement ICT training with the help of SCERT for all 3 lakh teachers in the department on subjects ranging from EMIS to using ICT tools for effective classroom transactions.
To identify children with special needs and mainstream out-of-school children with special needs
Pre-assessment and Evaluation for regular Medical camps are organised. The identified children are provided special training, in the form of school readiness programs. Homeschooling services are offered for children with high support needs with the aim to mainstream them in neighbourhood schools.
Under Samagra Shiksha, every year, door-to-door survey is being conducted in three spells to identify out of school children including Children with Special Needs and Children of migrant labourers. BRTE Panamarathupatti, Salem Dist. involved in a survey to identify drop out students in the agriculture field to ensure 100% enrollment in Panamarathupatti block.
The School Management Committee aims to strengthen community participation for sustainability and self-reliance of the students and the school. To this end various cultural activities are organized for the school children. cAwareness wall paintings to ensure Girls Education, Enrolment drive, various cultural activities for school children.
